His Majesty King Harald V and Her Majesty Queen Sonja will be visiting Poland on the 9-11 of May at the invitation of the President Bronisław Komorowski.

The visit will take place in Warszawa and Kraków. The program will consist the following points:

Wednesday, 9 May

Warszawa: Polish visit will begin with the official welcoming ceremony at the Presidential Palace, followed by laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the meeting with the Prime Minister and the chairmen of both parliamentary chambers. Day will end up with banquet.

Thursday, May 10

Warszawa: Conference "Europe - Norway Partnership Conference". Day ends with a concert.

Friday May 11

Kraków: Premiere of the new Polish-Norwegian research program and scholarship program. Both programs are funded by a grant from Norway (as a part of the European Economic Area). Then the King and Queen will visit Kraków's most famous museums and other cultural institutions.
