"Towarzystwo Narciarskie „Biegówki”  will organize on Saturday, February 18th in cooperation with the Kampinoski National Park the third cross-country skiing rally where participants will learn about the use of skis by armies in the past and nowadays. The meeting will take place in a beautiful settings of the Kampinoski Forest.

Participants will meet at Pl. Bankowy on Saturday morning at 08.15, from where there is a bus transportation to Kampinoski Forest.
 
Program:

- visit to the least known part of the Kampinoski Forest – with sand dunes and Łasica canal
- presentation of ski equipment used by the Finnish army in the Winter War and by the Polish army in 1918-39
- meeting with soldiers of the current Polish Highland Brigade who are going to speak about the contemporary ski units;
- meeting with members of historical reconstruction groups “Suomen Armeija” (Finnish Army) and “Cytadela”
- exhibition of historical photos
- camp fire
- visit of a church from XVI century in Brochów where Frederic Chopin was baptized

The registration fee is 32 PLN for members of "Towarzystwo Narciarskie „Biegówki” and 38 PLN for others.
