On the 1.12.2011 Nordic Council announced the nominations for  Nordisk Råds Litteraturpris 2012.

Among thirteen nominated is Janina Katz, Danish writer with Jewish descent. She was nominated for a poetry book Skrevet på polsk (written in Polish).
Janina Katz is also the author of eleven poetry books. In the year of 2011 one of them appeared in Polish Translation.
The writer is also the most deserved translator of Polish literature, especially poetry into Danish language.

The decision about nominated authors will be announced in the year of 2012 in Reykjavik (Iceland).
