In September 2011, representatives of the shipbuilding industry, maritime economy and seaports will meet for the 16th time at Poland's only International Maritime Exhibition and Conference Baltexpo 2011. The official opening will take place on 6th of September 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Olivia Hall, Gdańsk.

Baltexpo is being prepared in close cooperation with the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, Stocznia Gdańsk S.A., The Polish Chamber of Maritime Commerce among others. Apart from the core themes of Baltexpo, namely shipbuilding, ship repairs, outfitting, machinery, equipment and steel structures, this year's event will focus special attention on port infrastructure, port services, transport, forwarding and logistics, port safety and security and marine wind energy.

The Programme of Baltexpo is filled with conferences, there are also debates and seminar dedicated to IT Technologies for Shipbuildings Industry. The Baltexpo Maritime Exhibition and Conference is an excellent opportunity to meet, talk to and hold discussions with the top representatives of national and local administration, with managers of shipyards and the business environment.
