Double language edition of the album “Norwegia. Norway”, project by Elżbieta Dzikowska and Izabela Staniszewski will be available soon in bookstores. Authors meeting will take place on 18th of May in Empik bookstore in Warsaw, Marszałkowska St. 116/122 at 18.00 p.m.
The album is full of passion story about country, not so far from our fatherland, but still unknown. About astonishing fjords, mysterious islands, white nights, medieval churches, charming antique cities. This is also history about people - friendly, hospitable, respecting tradition, about their eternal connections with the sea, forcing with rough nature, every day life and festivities. Perfectly fitted descriptions to the photos persuade us, that dreams about traveling to amazing places, are existing to realize them. Norway is such a place. Authors meeting will be in Empik bookstore in Warsaw, Marszałkowska St. 116/122 at 18.00 p.m. Elżbieta Dzikowska and Izabela Staniszewski will be relate about their experience with Norway, and expeditions condensed in the album. Elżbieta Dzikowska and Izabela Staniszewski are also authors of the project "Norway Inspires" - an educational project of Polish Foundation Sport and Culture about people in a country that cultivates its own tradition, finds creative inspiration in its environment and has mastered life in simplicity and harmony. With this project we would like to give inspiration for good practical solutions, which combine the cultural heritage with innovative thinking.
Project is planed on 2011 and will be in many places around the Poland. 06.06.2011 exhibition will be in the Polish Parliament. Then it will be possible to see “Norway Inspires” in Stargard Szczeciński (16.06) and Szczecin (08.09). Next opportunity will be available during Nordalia Festival in Śląsk (11.10-24.10), where except exhibition will be many accompanying events and attractions. On the exhibition road is Olsztyn too.
