This year the summer is coming to Warsaw a bit earlier. 17th Lato Filmow Festival (The Summer of Films) will start already 1st April.

To celebrate the opening of the festival an Oscar winning Danish movie “In a Better World” dir. Susanne Bier will be screened in not one but two halls of Luna Cinema in Warsaw. Over six hundred film enthusiasts will be able to watch the Danish movie at the same time. The official premiere of the movie is scheduled to take place later this year, so the screening on Friday is a unique opportunity to watch the film already this spring.

Apart from “In a Better World”, the festival’s programme includes two other Danish films: Pernille Fischer Christensen’s “A Family” and Kaspar Munk’s “Hold om mig”.
