The Nordland Art Festival is to be organized in Łódź for the first time and is meant to be rather a musically oriented event. The organizers invited Norwegian trumpet player Nils Petter Molvær, a Norwegian trio "1982" and a famous ambient performer, Geir Jenssen.

The Programme of the Festival also includes numerous movie shows, among the propositions the participants of the festival will find:

• "Danish Dynamite" - documentary about Danish national football representation
• "Music from the Moon" - first time shown in Poland, a scenic documentary about music in Iceland and Greenland
