Sweden's governing centre-right alliance (Moderate Coalition Party, Centre Party, Liberal Party and Christian Democrats) has been re-elected, but is short of an overall majority.The coalition won 172 seats in Rikgsdag.
The far-right Sweden Democrats are said to have gained more than 4% of the vote, enabling them to enter parliament for the first time. Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeld, who will be re-elected, says that he will not make a deal with them - instead the coalition will try to cooperate with the Green Party.

- Green Party (Miljöpartiet) 7,2 % – 25 seats (+6)
- Red-Green Oposition Party(De rödgröna) 157 seats
- Swedish Democrats (Sverigedemokraterna) 5,7 % – 20 seats (+20)
