Starting from March 12, 2010 public benefit organisations do not have to take part in the tender procedure obligatory for concluding contracts on usufruct, tenancy or lease of real estates owned by the State Treasury if the contract is to be concluded for more than 3 years or for indefinite period of time. Until now, the provisions stipulated that such contracts were to be concluded by tender and it was the head of a voivodship or a relevant council or sejmik who could give its consent to giving up of the tender procedure when concluding such contracts.
