Under the amendments, companies which are conducting group lay-offs may intend to employ workers temporarily as the amending act revokes Article 3 of the Act of July 9, 2003 on Employment of Temporary Workers. The Article has provided that an entity which terminated employment relations with employees with a notice or by the agreement of parties under the group lay-off process due to reasons not attributable to employees within the preceding six months may not be an end-user employer.
