New President of Danfoss Sp. z o.o.

In connection with the organisational changes in Danfoss Poland, as per 1st July 2006 Hans Viggaard has taken over the legal responsibility for Danfoss Sp. z o.o. activities, appointed to the position of Danfoss Sp. z o.o. President.

Hans Viggaard has been employed at Danfoss A/S since 1989. He has among others held positions as General Manager of Danfoss Inc., Philippines, and Operations Manager in Danfoss Flow Division. For many years cooperating with Danfoss Poland and well experienced in operating on the Polish market. Between 1994 – 1996 the Sales Manager at Danfoss Poland responsible for Refrigeration & Industry. Then back in 2002, establishing the Danish – Japanese joint venture Danfoss Saginomiya located in Grodzisk Maz. From the very beginning, as the President, responsible for its production and sales activities. The position of Danfoss Sp. z o.o. President is held in parallel with Mr. Viggaard’s responsibility for Bravo Operations in Automatic Controls Production, with factories in Denmark, Mexico and Poland.

Hans Viggaard was born in Denmark. However, for the last few years lived in Poland with wife Sabine.  Hans Viggaard speaks some Polish and has extensive experience from working with cultural differences.  Further, Hans is passionate about flying and holds a private pilot’s licence. 

OTHER INFORMATION:

After four years of representing Danfoss in Poland, Søren Steen Thomsen decided to take up new challenges and as of May 15th joined the Danfoss Heat Pumps, established after acquisitionion of a newly acquired company Thermia – Swedish producer of heat pumps. Søren Steen Thomsen was promoted a Vice President and is responsible for global sales.

As per 15th May, Mr. Adam Jędrzejczak has taken over the responsibility for Global Business Services structures consisted of the back office functions (Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Administration, Sales Supply Chain and IT).

Change of the Director in the Automatic Controls Production Departments. Niels Damgaard Hansen will on July 15th take over from Hans Perregaard, who after 35 years of working for Danfoss A/S and 4 years of managing the Production in Grodzisk Maz. is going on a retirement at the end of August 2006.

Danfoss Saginomiya, the producer of cartridge controls for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, has a new President. As per 1st May 2006 Claus Toennesen took over from Hans Viggaard and will continue successful results of the joint venture.
