Young Danish-French composer Loïc Destremau together with the collective of Polish composers gen~.rate are on the program of this year’s Warsaw Autumn.

Gen~.rate is focused on the cooperation of composers, conductors and musicians from various academic backgrounds and countries. The title of the concert – GEN~.RATE: ZOOMED – refers to a situation in which the recipient has the possibility of direct contact with the scenario in an unconventional manner, placing the viewer on stage.

Loïc Destremau (b. 1992) works in the space of instrumental and multi-media music in constellations from solo-performers to larger ensembles. He explores various compositional techniques, concepts and musical platforms.

Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music celebrates its 60th edition jubilee. For many years it was the only event of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe, and today nationwide it is recognized as the only contemporary music festival in Poland on an international scale and status.
