The 5th edition of Open to Scandinavia will take place in Elbląg (about 1 hour drive from Gdańsk) from the 13th to the 15th of September 2017.

Tentative event agenda:

September 13th - arrival of guests from Finland and Sweden to ElblÄ…g; welcome dinner (representatives of Finnish and Swedish companies, speakers, representatives of the regional government of Warmia and Mazury and the city of Elblag); check-in at a hotel downtown Elblag.

September 14th - Open to Scandinavia conference in the city hall in Elblag, combined with lunch and b2b meetings (10:00 - 16:00) followed by a casual dinner provided by the city of Elblag (please see a short video from last year’s conference)

September 15th - Sightseeing or company visits (based on your preference); departure of guests from Finland and Sweden.

Who is the event meant for? – Any companies from Finland and Sweden, especially prospective investors and entrepreneurs looking for partners/subcontractors in NE Poland. Representatives of Finnish and Swedish companies (1 representative per company/a total of 10) attend the event free of charge (we arrange and cover return tickets, e.g. Skavsta-GdaÅ„sk-Skavsta, transportation in Poland, hotels, meals).

Information for participants from Finland and Sweden:

a. Flights, hotel, logistics: You will be contacted directly by our event operator regarding travel and hotel accommodations. You will also be able to provide your flight/airport preferences. Once in Poland, you will be picked up from the airport by a driver who will take you to the hotel in ElblÄ…g. Event organizer will meet you and other participants from Finland and Sweden in Elblag for dinner on the day of your arrival. The main event will take place on the following day, and that’s when you will be able to talk to the local companies. Later that day, there will also be an opportunity to continue any of the b2b talks in less formal circumstances at a casual dinner provided by the city of Elblag. Last day of your stay, you will have a choice of sightseeing or visiting any of the companies you had met.
