The open lecture and discussion with Carl Marklund PhD from Södertörn University (Sweden) is organized within the programme "Modernization Experiences from Northern Europe - Lessons for Poland". The programme is organized by Graduate School for Social Research at Institute of Philosophy and Sociology Polish Academy of Science, Scientific Foundation Norden Centrum and Institute of Scandiavian Studies and Applied Linguistics at GdaÅ„sk University.

We invite everyone who is interested in Northern Europe, its social, cultural, economic and political changes and discussions how experiences from this region could be inspiring for analysis of development of Poland.
