We are happy to inform you that on 19 October the World Bank published a report "Benchmarking Public Procurement 2016" prepared by experts from the Infrastructure and Energy Practice at Domański Zakrzewski Palinka Sp. K. The report is an invaluable source of information as it analyzes the public procurement regulatory environment in 77 countries, including Poland.
The Report co-written by Marcin Krakowiak, Partner and Head of the Infrastructure and Energy Practice, Katarzyna KuĹşma, Partner and Wojciech Hartung, Counsel, describes the impact of legal regulations on the cooperation of the private sector with public administration. The authors also focus on transparency and key obstacles that private entrepreneurs, especially SME, encounter when attempting to actively participate in a public procurement process.
The empirical data contained in the report may constitute practical guidelines for public administration in particular countries. The guidelines concern creation of frameworks and specific regulations governing the public procurement sector.
The study is a useful tool not only for the administration sector and for the private sector but also academic purposes.
