Solbar Industries, an Israel-based soy proteins company, and Danish food ingredients supplier Danetto Food, have launched a joint venture in Poland, expanding their European presence.
The venture will involve the distribution of Solbar's soy products in Poland, using Danetto's resources, which includes a sales office, and inventory and logistical network based in Swiecie.
John Johnke, managing director of international sales at Danetto, said: "We look forward to take on the responsibility of distributing some of the best functional soy concentrates, textured and isolated soy proteins from Solbar Industries in Poland. We are becoming a very serious alternative to current suppliers of functional and textured soy to the Polish meat industry."
