We are pleased to announce that on May 29, 2014, the Ambassador of Sweden to Poland, Mr. Staffan Herrström visited Invest Park BiaÅ‚ogard.

The Ambassador visited companies conducting business activity in the Technology Incubator in Białogard. Currently, there are 10 companies operating in the Technology Incubator (8,000m2), which employ a total of ca. 330 people. Then he met in the conference room with the representatives of Swedish companies operating in the region of Szczecin, Koszalin and Słupsk.

The appearance of the Ambassador in BiaÅ‚ogard created the opportunity of presenting the Technology Incubator and “Invest-Park BiaÅ‚ogard”, which is especially dedicated to those entrepreneurs from Scandinavia who are planning to launch production in Poland or expand a production-related business activity which is already operating in Poland.

“Many thanks for the invitation to the local authorities as well as the companies which we have visited today, i.e. Elfa Manufacturing, MPS International and Above Meble. This is my first visit to BiaÅ‚ogard and Koszalin. I am glad that I was able to learn about very positive experience of the Swedish companies which decided to invest in your region. It was interesting to see the Technology Incubator in BiaÅ‚ogard and to obtain information about the same. The said Incubator provides new growth opportunities for other companies,” said Ambassador Staffan Herrström.

The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr. Daniel Larsson – the Commercial Counsellor of Swedish Embassy to Poland.

“Each of the companies which we visited today is highly satisfied with investing in this region. The companies talk about the ease of conducting a business activity here. The offer of “Invest-Park” which provides the possibilities of supporting companies with Scandinavian capital, planning to launch or expand the production in Poland is one of the first which we present to the entrepreneurs at our Embassy,” said Mr. Daniel Larsson.

“Representatives of international business environments are more frequently visiting BiaÅ‚ogard. They highly value our investment offer while the undertaken actions bring positive effects,” said Krzysztof BagiÅ„ski, the Mayor of BiaÅ‚ogard.

The visit of the Ambassador in our region generated a large interest, not only among Scandinavian companies but also the Polish ones which already cooperate with entities from Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland and hope to develop that cooperation.
