Danish Nørhaven A/S has decided to end the company’s activities within paper manufacturing through its subsidiary Skolwin Paper International in Szczecin, Poland.

According to the information on the company website "Paper manufacturing at Skolwin Paper International has been hit by unforeseen and unsurmountable investment needs, inappropriate to Nørhaven A/S’ foundation."

Norhaven bought the factory in Szczecin in December 2005.   

The factory officially stops on 1st February 2008. The production was already stopped in November 2007. Around 250 people lost their job.
