Open to the North
Meet, talk, encourage to visit Warmia an Mazury – those are the main goals of the Marshall, Anna Wasilewska, and other members of the Marshall Office of the Warmia and Mazury Voivodship, who will gather for an exclusive business breakfast with the representatives of the companies, economic organisations and embassies of the Northern European countries.
“Nordic Business Talks” breakfast is going to be held on the 22nd of November in Warsaw. It is going to take form of a round table discussion, enriched with the presentation of the Warmia and Mazury Voivodship and its economic potential. “Only 20 people have been invited to this exclusive event. Some of the entrepreneurs interested in our region will attend the meeting. We would like to show them our potential as well as to learn about their expectations and the way they perceive us”, said RadosĹ‚aw Zawadzki, head of the Promotion Coordination Department of the Marshall Office. Among the guests who confirmed their presence there are representatives of permanent diplomatic missions (Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finnland) and members of the chambers of commerce. “We are delighted to hear that one of the ambassadors whishes that the Honorary Consulate was established in our region. This suggests that the interest in Warmia and Mazury is growing. Moreover, it makes us believe that promoting our region among the Nordic countries might result in real investments”, added RadosĹ‚aw Zawadzki. The round table discussion will be moderated by Jan CieĹ„ski, financial journalist and Polish correspondent for the “Financial Times”. “Nordic Business Talks” is organised as a part of the “Regional Operational Programme Warmia and Mazury for the years 2007-2013 Project”. It aims to promote the investment potential of the region.
