M&A

In international surveys, Denmark is often ranked as one of Europe’s best countries for ease of doing business and having the best business climate. Furthermore, a high level of wealth and innovation, economic and political stability, the world’s lowest level of corruption and a well-educated labour force ensure that the future holds a basis for Polish companies to expand their foreign business.

Simon Milthers, who is one of Bech-Bruun’s experts within M&A and company law, will give an insight in the commercial advantages of doing business in Denmark, including:

IP and marketing

For decades, Denmark has been one of the countries with the highest GNP per capita within the EU. A robust digital infrastructure and major businesses within e.g. life science and design make Denmark a strategic market for foreign companies who are depending on the protection of innovation and new technologies.

Claus Barrett Christiansen, who is one of Bech-Bruun’s experts within IP and marketing, will give an insight in Denmark’s protection of intellectual property and regulation of marketing, including:

Construction projects

The Danish construction branch has long been internationally known for its transparency, high levels of business ethics and use of digital solutions. In the future years, the upcoming mega projects will reach a size and complexity where the use of foreign contractors and suppliers is inevitable.

Esben Korsgaard Poulsen, who is one of Bech-Bruun’s experts within construction law and dispute resolution, will give an insight in the Danish construction branch , including:

The defence industry

Due to the rising tensions in international relations, the Danish government and parliament have decided to increase investments in the Danish Defence to more than 3 % of the GNP by 2026. Future public investments in defence technology, new barracks, anti-aircraft systems, etc. are expected to reach 203 billion PLN, making the private suppliers of defence solutions to one of the fastest growing sectors.
