MSI as Industries: Steel & Metal Products
Due to numerous accidents, including fatal ones, occurring onboard ships, Ragnar Jorgensen invented a lifeboat hook that has become a game-changer. The development took 6–7 years, resulting in a product that is safe, simple, durable, and the only one meeting new regulations. It is manufactured by KCL AS, a company located south of Oslo (kcl.no/noa). The first delivery consisted of 26 lifeboats that received the new hooks onboard the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Navigator. KCL also performed the first service for these hooks.
