On an exceptionally sunny and warm May 1 the Finnish Trade Guild organized the traditional  Vappu picnic in the Krolikarnia Park. The picnic was attended by ca. 40 people, which is a good number considering the long weekend and the nice weather had encouraged many Finns and friends of Finland to escape the big city. Participants enjoyed their champagne, other liquid refreshments and traditional snacks, some saying they tasted better than ever this year! The subsequent Vappu lunch on the terrace of restaurant Banja Luka lasted until the evening. Let's hope we will have the same glorious weather also next year!
