On 23rd of August took place the opening of SPCC representation in Örresund region. Mr. Lars Svensson is now SPCC representative in Malmö/ Copenhagen region. Mr. Svensson worked for many years in Poland as the president of Ericsson Polska and now is willing to share his rich experience with Swedish and Danish companies.
The opening was followed by the conference „Doing business in Poland. How to be successful?”, which gathered over 70 guests. Program of the conference included  success stories of SPCC member companies, which has their origin in Sweden. Mr. Marek Gajowniczek presented history of dynamic development of Ericpol Telecom, company which has been cooperated with Ericsson already for many years now. The main rule of this fruitful cooperation is a simple, however most effective “win-win” rule.
SPCC guests had also opportunity to learn about law office Magnusson’s experiences presented by Mr. Artur Swirtun and Mrs. Charlotte Castenschiold from the office in Copenhagen. Mr. Tomasz Blahut  described  Nordea Banks, brand well known by Scandinavians, position on the Polish market.

A special guest of the conference was Mr. Uffe Ellemann-Jensen, the previous Minister for Foreign Affairs of Denmark, co-founder of the Council of the Baltic Sea States. Currently Mr. Ellemann-Jensen as the Chairman of Baltic Development Forum, a non-profit networking organization dedicated for the business development of the Baltic Sea region, supports strongly the cooperation between states in Baltic Sea region. Mr. Elleman-Jensen underlined how important part of it is cooperation between Poland and Scandinavian countries on the economic level.
