Opening of SPCC Representation Office in Szczecin

The official opening of the new SPCC Regional Office in Szczecin took place on 19th March 2009 in Radisson SAS Hotel. The welcome speech was delivered by Peter  T. Nielsen, the SPCC Chairman and Kaare Nordbo, SPCC Regional Representative in Szczecin. The special guest of the event was H.E. Dag Hartelius, Ambassador of Sweden to Poland. The Ambassador spoke about the new strategy for growth and competitiveness in the Baltic Sea Region in the light of the forthcoming Swedish chairmanship of EU.


Almost 100 participants, including representatives of SPCC members of Nordic companies present in West Pomerania as well as non-members and representatives of local authorities and media, attended the meeting. Information about the opening of the representative office in Szczecin was published in the biggest regional media.


SPCC aim is to create a networking platform for the Nordic companies present in West Pomerania region. The task of the regional representation will be to secure the information and experience exchange and support establishing business relations and co-operation between member companies present in this region as well as among members from other parts of Poland.
