Finnish Trade Guild organized on Saturday June 10th its traditional summer event at Wilanow Golf Parks in Warsaw under the headig FTG Finland 100 Summer Picnic, this time to also celebrate the centennial anniversary of Finland. Enjoying the beautiful and sunny summer's afternoon in good company and with an abundance of good food, liquid refreshments - including a celebratory toast to Finland - music, fun and games was ca. 230 Finns and friends of Finland that during the afternoon also joined in the Finnish national anthem.

Participants had an opportunity to get golf lessons, and new champions in YIT Polish Open "Mölkky" and Nordea "Mökkitikka" (Finnish Darts) tournaments were crowned. Face painting, mini-golf, a drawing contest and many other games were popular among the younger participants. The charitable lottery with some great prizes proved another highlight, yielding 3 650 PLN to "Suomikoulu", an educational program for Finnish children residing in Poland, designed to help them maintain their native language and culture.
