FDI DEBATE: The impact of foreign direct investments in Lower Silesia

Almost 100 business participants took part in the first regional debate on foreign investment’s influence in Lower Silesia.
The event was opened by the Plenipotentiary for International Relations of the Marshal of Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Krzysztof Bramorski, together with SPCC’s Chairman, Carsten Nilsen, who welcomed guests on behalf of eight Trade Chambers (Belgian, British, Dutch, German, Portuguese and Spanish).
The report’s results were presented by Łukasz Lipiński – Analytical Director of the Polityka Insight institute, who summarised the main points of the report, also including the context of Lower Silesia.
The panel debate was attended by representatives of local governments and foreign investors in the region: Ewa Kaucz, Vice-Chairman of Araw, Andreas Gietl, Managing Director of BASF Polska, Olivier Constantin, Vice-Chairman of the Board for Credit Agricole Bank Polska and Senior Country Officer of CA Group in Poland, Jacek Siwiński, General Director of VELUX Poland, and Rafał Szafraniec, Partner at KPMG. The panel was moderated by Paweł Panczyj, Managing Director of ABSL.
