Finnish Trade Guild organized on Saturday June 11th the traditional Finnish Summer Picnic at Wilanow Golf Parks in Warsaw. Enjoying the beautiful and sunny summer afternoon in good company and with an abundance of good food, liquid refreshments, music, fun and games was a record number of 290 guests. Among the guests FTG was honored to welcome H.E. Finnish Ambassador Mrs. Hanna Lehtinen.
Participants had an opportunity to get golf lessons, and new champions in Polar Logistics Polish Open "Mölkky" and Stora Enso" Mökkitikka" (Finnish Darts) tournaments were crowned. Face painting, mini-golf and many other games were popular among the younger participants. The charitable lottery with some great prizes proved another highlight, yielding 3 910 PLN to "Suomikoulu", an educational program for Finnish children residing in Poland, designed to help them maintain their native language and culture.
