Strong competition among companies in the retail sector forces retailers to extra efforts to identify and meet the consumer expectations & requirements. Those activities are an important factor in sales strategy. It has become necessary to develop and put into practice innovative methods of customer relationship management. However, a key challenge for today's retail network is to understand the reasons behind the decision to purchase the goods, in consequence, be able to develop a marketing strategy tailored to the dynamic changes in customer behavior and preferences.
