The Minister of Finance, Mr. Paweł Szałamacha met with the largest bilateral chambers of commerce in Poland.
On 24th of February the Minister of Finance Mr. PaweĹ‚ SzaĹ‚amacha met with representatives of the thirteen bilateral chambers of commerce – American, British, Belgian, French, Spanish, Irish, Canadian, Dutch, German, Portuguese, Italian, Swiss and Scandinavian which represent the largest foreign investors operating on the Polish market. The chambers present at this meeting associate more than 3500 companies that provide around 1.5 million workplaces in Poland.
The meeting with the Minister of Finance was chaired by the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce.
The meeting was an opportunity to learn about the plans and priorities of the Ministry in the area of finance and fiscal policy, as well as to present the bilateral chambers and investors from the member companies.
The Minister of Finance while presenting the priorities of the Ministry, among others planned taxes – in banking and retail sectors, also emphasized that it is more important for the Ministry to increase efficiency of already existing fiscal tools and relevant administration than introducing new changes in legislation and systems.
Minister Szałamacha also answered questions received from investors, concerning among others new taxes and other fiscal matters important for entrepreneurs who are doing business in Poland.
Participants of the meeting expressed their willingness for continuation of the established dialogue and cooperation.
