On the 15th of October the SPCC conference "CSR in the area of human capital development and social development in Nordic companies" was held. The meeting took place at Radisson Blu Hotel Centrum in Warsaw.
During the conference we presented a recent publication prepared by SPCC in cooperation with KPMG and companies: Fortum Power and Heat Polska, DNB, Ikea and Jotun. The publication contains the results of the last CSR survey which was conducted among Polish and Scandinavian companies. We also present good practices of Scandinavian companies operating in Poland in the area of developing human and social capital: Fortum, DNB, IKEA, Jotun, Atlas Copco, Autoliv, Ericsson, H&M, Jula Poland, Kemira , Oriflame, Poldanor, Ruukki, Stora Enso and Volvo Polska.
During the conference participants had an opportunity to learn more about CSR projects conducted by Fortum Power and Heat Poland, DNB, Ikea and Jotun, as well as to listen to a panel discussion dedicated to benefits from conducting CSR activities.
The special guest speaker of the meeting and the panel discussion moderator was Professor Bolesław Rok, Director of Business Ethics & Social Innovation Centre at Kozminski University.
