Finnish Trade Guild organized on Saturday June 13th the traditional Finnish Summer Picnic at Wilanow Golf Parks in Warsaw. Enjoying the beautiful and sunny summer's afternoon in good company with an abundance of good food, liquid refreshments, music, fun and games were ca 210 guests. Not only the weather but also the atmosphere was very warm, and FTG was honored to welcome among guests also H.E. Finnish Ambassador Mrs. Hanna Lehtinen.

During the afternoon participants had an opportunity to get an introduction to golf, and new champions in Kemira Polish Open "Mölkky" and Barona "Mökkitikka" (Finnish Darts) tournaments were crowned. Face painting, mini-golf and many other games were popular among the younger participants. The charitable lottery with some great prizes proved another highlight, yielding 2 930 PLN to "Suomikoulu", an educational program for Finnish children residing in Poland, designed to help them maintain their native language and culture.
