FTG members had on October 23rd an opportunity to take part in and enjoy the views of Aalto University Professor Mr. Sixten Korkman, one of the top economic thinkers in Finland who served previously as Director of the Research Institute of Finnish Economy (ETLA) and Director General at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in Brussels.

Following a tasty buffet lunch Mr. Korkman shared his views on the economic situation and trends in Europe, the history and future of the Euro, Poland's upcoming Euro membership and the Finnish experience of the European Monetary Union, among other.
