Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of Sweden in Warsaw guests had an opportunity to celebrate a Swedish midwinter tradition -  Sankta Lucia on 11th of December. It is a very popular event among the Swedish society in Poland - this year we hosted around 450 guests including politicians, diplomats and representatives of Swedish and Polish companies. The guests were welcomed by H.E. Staffan Herrström with Mrs Karin Herrström. The main attraction of the evening was choir performance with traditional St. Lucia songs provided by SWPS.  Our guest also had a chance to find out more about the common history of Poland and Sweden and the house of Vasa by Herman Lindqvist - Swedish journalist, writer and historian.
