Visit of Minister Andrzej Domański in Norway

Minister of Finance and Economy Andrzej Domański met with Norwegian companies. On January 8, 2026, a Polish delegation with representatives of, among others, PFR and PAIH participated in a conference of the Norwegian Employers’ Organization NHO in Lillestrøm near Oslo.
NHO’s annual conference 2026, attended by Minister Domański, is the largest gathering of business leaders, which was opened this year by Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
Every year, this event sets the economic and public agenda in Norway for the coming year. Discussions focused on innovation, geopolitics, competitiveness, and security.
Andrzej Domański, Minister of Finance and Economy, during the opening panel with Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, head of the World Trade Organization (WTO), and Børge Brende, President of the World Economic Forum in Davos, discussed global challenges, with particular emphasis on security and building long-term economic resilience in Europe.
During a bilateral roundtable meeting, representatives of the Polish public administration held talks with major Norwegian companies. The leading topics included energy, defense, the space sector, and dual-use technologies.
