Two final programme agreements of EEA and Norway Grants in Poland green transition and justice signed

All 8 programmes from the EEA and Norway Grants are now ready for full implementation mode in Poland.
The green programme will support climate-friendly solutions accelerating climate action, sustainability, and resilient growth. The programme objective: Contribute to the implementation of the EU Green Deal with a focus on four strategic outcome areas; climate, energy, biodiversity and ecosystems and circular economy. Targeted support within each of these areas will contribute to bridging a gap in current EU funding and support the development of strategic technologies such as CCS in Poland.
The programme grant is € 160,900 million, funded through the EEA Grants.
The programme agreement for the Justice programme in Poland was also signed.
- The programme contributes to societal resilience in Poland through the following objectives:
- Prevention and combatting of domestic and gender- based violence in line with international and European human rights standards.
- Increased access to an independent, accountable, and efficient justice system of high quality in line with international and European human rights standards.
- Improved correctional services in line with international and European human rights standards.
The programme grant is € 60 million, funded through the Norway Grants.
