On Monday, 13 April 2026, the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak Kamysz has met in Oslo with Tore O. Sandvikiem, the Minister of Defence of Norway.
Polish-Norwegian relations have never been as good as they are today – they are of the highest quality. It is already a strategic partnership. We have been discussing key issues for the security of eastern and northern flanks. We have been talking about challenges tied to the threat from the Russian Federation, its neo-imperial policy, and all that we face because of the ongoing hybrid war. For a number of years, Poland has been facing attacks on critical infrastructure, airspace violations and incidents on the Baltic. I thank the Minister for joining our strategy to build new security architecture on the Baltic Sea – said the Deputy Prime Minister during a visit to Norway.
