Volvo Poland will provide eight hybrid city buses to Leszno. This is the ninth Polish city in which Volvo won the tender for hybrid buses this year. The City and Volvo Poland have signed a contract in this matter.

Leszno is the ninth city this year, which opted for electrified Volvo city buses. Previously, Volvo won the tender or delivered buses to InowrocÅ‚aw (8 electric and 8 electric-hybrid), GrudziÄ…dz (7 electric-hybrid), BiaÅ‚ystok (4 hybrid), EÅ‚k (6 hybrid), Krosno (11 hybrid), Jelenia Góra (3 hybrid), Krakow (12 hybrid - articulated) and KÄ™dzierzyn-Koźle (1 hybrid).

Volvo's hybrid buses run today on regular lines in Sosnowiec, InowrocÅ‚aw, Tarnowskie Góry, Jelenia Góra, BiaÅ‚ystok, Krosno and Warsaw. In total, Volvo has sold more than 2,000 so far to public transport operators in over twenty countries.
