White & Case advises Advanced Power Solutions in the sale of a consumer battery manufacturing property
Global law firm White & Case provided comprehensive legal advice to Advanced Power Solutions S.A. in the sale of a consumer battery manufacturing property in Gniezno, in a sale-leaseback deal to REICO ČS Long Lease, managed by the Czech group REICO IS ČS.
The battery production property consists of two production halls and two warehouses. It also includes two service buildings and more than 200 parking spaces. The total leasable area of the facility is over 24,000 square meters and is located in an industrial zone near the town of Gniezno in the Wielkopolska Voivodeship in Poland.
The exclusive long-term tenant of the entire property is Advanced Power Solutions, a leader in the production of carbon zinc and alkaline batteries. Advanced Power Solutions operates in more than 50 countries worldwide, including Europe, North America and Asia. The manufacturing facility is able to produce up to 4 million batteries a day, which makes it one of the largest such facilities in the world.
