Today, safety is not an abstraction – it is a daily responsibility. In the face of new realities and rising expectations regarding protective infrastructure, we invite you to discuss how to wisely design, build, and maintain shelters – from standards and technologies to organization and everyday practical use.
YIT Development, a company with Finnish roots, brings the experience of a country where shelters have become part of a culture of resilience. Finland has approximately 50,500 shelters, providing protection for around 4.8 million people. This level of coverage offers real safety to nearly everyone who lives, works, or moves through Finnish cities. This is not a story about records, but about a consistent standard of safety – one we aim to introduce in Poland in a calm, responsible, Nordic way.
During the conference “Shelters in Construction as a Foundation of National Security”, we will give the floor to practitioners and decisionmakers to answer the key question: How do we build a system that truly protects people – in residential buildings, public spaces, and strategic facilities?
At YIT Development, we support this direction through industry partnerships and the transfer of Finnish construction standards – so good practices become the everyday norm rather than the exception.
Participation in the event is free of charge for SPCC members. If you are interested, please send an email to konferencje@yit.pl or call +48 668 222 188.
Please register by 15 April.
