AI in the workplace beyond 2026 – employers’ obligations under the AI Act. How to prepare your company for the next revolution beyond recruitment? – Presentation
- Agata Kamińska – Senior Associate, Peterka & Partners
Starting 2 August 2026, most of the key provisions of the EU AI Act will come into force – reshaping the way companies in Poland (and across Europe) may use artificial intelligence in the workplace. The new regulations impose specific obligations on employers, especially when deploying high-risk AI systems – such as those used in recruitment, performance monitoring, or workforce management.
During this session, we will explore:
- The most important legal requirements under the AI Act for HR departments and employers,
- Concrete examples of AI tools that fall under the new rules (e.g., ATS platforms, scoring and assessment tools, AI-driven monitoring systems),
- A practical action plan companies should start implementing today to be fully compliant by 2026,
- The strategic role of HR as a key partner in ensuring responsible and ethical AI adoption.
This is not only a legal revolution – it is also an opportunity to build a new culture of trust and accountability in the digital workplace.
